Work Queue Search Screen Overview

Overview

Use the Work Queue Search screen to locate the work queue tasks you want to work on.

If you want to create a work queue task, click the Create New Task link at the top of the screen. When you create a task directly from the Work Queue, the task is assigned to you, but is not associated with a specific customer or credit request.

When you open the Work Queue module, a list of your assigned tasks displays. Tasks are ordered in the list by due date, with any overdue tasks shown at the top of the list with red text.

If you have less than a maximum number of items in your work queue, the Work Queue Search screen displays all tasks assigned to you. If there are more than the maximum number (200 actions), 200 items display and you receive a message, so that you can enter more precise search information to locate the additional items.
 

Search criteria

You can narrow the search for specific work queue processes or tasks, for tasks for a specific time frame or status, or for tasks that are associated with specific customers, credit requests, or regions. To locate the specific tasks you want to work on, enter search criteria to filter the results. You can filter using any of the fields on the screen. After you search you can sort the search results by clicking any underlined column header.

Searching by user

On the Work Queue Search screen, the User list enables you to search for tasks by user assignment. You can search for tasks that are:

  • Assigned to your work queue. This is the default selection.

  • Unassigned.  

  • Assigned to any user by selecting All from the User list.

  • Assigned to a subordinate's work queue. This includes your immediate subordinates, and those that they manage. To view work queue tasks for a subordinate, you must be listed as the primary or secondary manager for the user on the subordinate's User Details screen

  • Assigned to another user's work queue if the user is assigned to the same business role as you, and the role includes the capability to access other work queues.

After you locate the work queue task

When you search for and locate the work queue tasks, with the appropriate access privileges Your access privileges in eCredit are determined by the capabilities for the user role you are assigned to. Your user role might include no access or read-only access to certain features. you can do the following from the Search Results section of the screen:

  • View details for the task, change the task status, mark it as completed, or add notes by selecting the view/edit link.

  • Reassign tasks.

  • Remove tasks.

  • View credit request details by selecting the Tran # link if the task was created for a credit request.

  • View the customer record by selecting the customer name link if the task was added for a customer.
