Navigating in the Work Queue Module (Credit)

Overview

Using the Work Queue module, you manage your assigned work queue tasks. If you are a manager, you can also manage the work queue tasks for all your subordinates and for their subordinates.

When you open the Work Queue module, a list of your assigned tasks displays. Tasks are ordered in the list by due date, with any overdue tasks shown at the top of the list with red text. If you have less than a maximum number of  items in your work queue, the Work Queue Search screen displays all tasks assigned to you.

If there are more than the maximum number, you receive a message, so that you can enter more precise search information to locate the additional items. You can narrow the search for specific work queue processes or tasks, for tasks for a specific time frame or status, or for tasks that are associated with specific customers, users, credit requests, or regions.

What you can do from the Work Queue

By locating a work queue task in the Search Results section you can access the:

  • Details for the task

  • Credit request details if the task is associated with a credit request

  • Customer record if the task is associated with a customer, and you have access privileges to the Customer Analysis module

Accessing other work queues

On the Work Queue Search screen, the User list enables you to search for tasks by user assignment. You can search for tasks that are:

  • Assigned to your work queue. This is the default selection.

  • Unassigned.

  • Assigned to a subordinate's work queue. This includes your immediate subordinates, and those that they manage. To view work queue tasks for a subordinate, you must be listed as the primary or secondary manager for the user on the subordinate's User Details screen.

  • Assigned to another user's work queue if the user is assigned to the same business role as you and the role includes the capability to access other work queues. You can search by a particular user or by All to display customers with action items assigned to any of these users.

Note:  Users who are associated with an external source or with an internal source that does not have access to all customers can only access unassigned tasks that are associated with customer account that originated with their source.
