Notes

Overview

Notes store text of any length describing activities related to the customer or to a credit request. You can also attach any document accessible from your system to the note, as long as the document is less than 5 MB. Each note can have one attachment.

For example, you can use customer or credit request notes to enter the following types of information:

  • Synopsis of the credit analysis process

  • Final credit recommendation

  • Dated log file for credit reviews

  • Summary information for reporting purposes

You can change the information entered for a note, and delete notes from eCredit.

Integration with the Automated Decisions module

Information entered using this feature is centrally accessible through eCredit for all authorized users from your organization. The Notes feature is accessible from both the Automated Decisions and the Customer Analysis modules, so that notes can be shared between authorized users using either module. Any file that you attach to a note is stored in the eCredit database. This means that all authorized users can access and open the file provided they have the appropriate application to view it.
