Operating Characteristics

Overview

Operating Characteristics specify your company's structure for doing business with the customer. These characteristics define your company's product distribution organizations that are relevant to the customer. You can add an internal operating characteristics record for each of your business units or divisions that do business with the customer. Credit Analysts can then allocate credit lines to the business units you add for the customer. A business process or scorecard can also use this information when allocating credit.

If an interface with your Accounts Receivable department is part of your eCredit implementation, you can use the AR Data feature to view Accounts Receivable data for the business units you add for this customer.
