Working with Market Snapshot Reports

Overview

The External Financials feature enables you to request the Market Snapshot Report from Reuters for publicly traded companies world-wide. By providing concise financial and business summaries, this report helps you understand the scope of the customer's business and the business developments that impact the current numbers in the customer's financial profile.

The Market Snapshot report includes the following information:

• General company information, including the dates of the company's most recent annual and interim statements, and number of common share holders.

• Contact information and a list of officers.

• Financial Summary providing a concise overview of the types of products and services the company offers and the segments in which the company operates.

• Business Summary providing a brief analysis of the company's most recent financials.

• Key ratios and statistics in nine areas, including Price Volume, Efficiency Ratios, Financial Strength, Growth Rates, Income Statement, Management Effectiveness, Per Share Ratios, Price Related, and Profitability Ratios.

When you select the Market Snapshot option, eCredit displays the most recently requested Market Snapshot report, if one has already been requested. You can submit a request to see if there is a more recent report available from Reuters.

If you are use Company Lookup to request the statements, the Report No is automatically filled in when submitting the request. More

If you do not use Company Lookup, when you submit requests for Market Snapshot reports, eCredit can facilitate the request by automatically filling in the Ticker Symbol if you enter it on the customer's Basic screen.
