Customer Status

Overview

Customer Status specifies a temporary, cautionary approach to credit approval for a customer. You might use this feature when you have incomplete information, or receive negative information about a customer.

For example, if a lawsuit is newly filed against a customer, you can change the customer status to on hold, on watch, or on denial for credit decisions pending the outcome of the lawsuit.

You can use Customer Status information to inform all authorized users, and you can generate reports based on it. The automated decision process can use customer status when making automated decisions.
