Viewing Accounts Receivable Data from Credit Line

Procedure

Clicking the AR Summary button on the Credit Line screen is the quickest way to see A/R data for a customer when you are working in the Credit Line feature. AR Summary screen shows the most recent data for the following:

  • Total A/R

  • Total credit line (Credit lines entered through the Automated Decisions module are included in the total exposure for the customer only if the credit line has both an effective and expiration date entered for it on the Decision screen.)

  • Aging buckets

  • Total account revenue and profits entered on the Credit Line Details screen for the customer

  • Latest weighted score

To view the Accounts Receivable summary for a customer:

  1. Select the customer. How?

  2. From the Customer Information tab, select Credit Line.
    The Credit Line screen appears.

Note:  Approved, effective credit lines are displayed with blue text. Expired credit lines are displayed with red text.

  1. Select View A/R Summary.
The AR Summary screen appears. The Selected Account Data section uses the most recently entered data for the customer.

  2. To calculate the monetary values on the screen using a different currency, unit, or conversion date, select from the Currency, Conversion Date, or Unit fields, and click Calculate.
The screen displays the monetary values using the selected values.

Note:  If you select a conversion date for which no exchange rate data has been entered, eCredit uses the most recent prior date for which data is available. Therefore, selecting the current date ensures that you receive the most recent exchange rate data.

Other ways to view A/R data for customers

You can also view accounts receivable data for customers from:

  • AR Data feature:  complete aging and performance data sent from an interface with your Accounts Receivable system. You can view historical records and detailed data by business unit if you are sending data broken down by business units. This is the most detailed AR data view for a customer.

  • Business Hierarchy: If a customer is part of a business hierarchy, you can view consolidated aging and exposure data for all customers in the hierarchy through the Business Hierarchy feature of the Customer Analysis module. However, the Business Hierarchy feature does not provide performance data, or as much aging detail as the AR Data feature.
