Deleting Credit Lines

Procedure

The following determine if you can delete approved credit lines:

    • The credit line must be expired.

    • Your role assignment must include the capability to delete credit lines.

    • The credit line cannot be part of a credit request transaction entered through the Automated Decisions screen.

    • Your Business Administrator must set up eCredit to enable deleting of approved credit lines.

    • The credit line cannot be an Allocated credit line. An Allocated credit line has a Type of Allocated, and is created by an allocation from a parent account's credit line.

Note:  To delete an allocation, you delete the parent credit line from which the allocation was made. When you delete the parent credit line, you delete all allocations made from the credit line.

To delete credit lines:

  1. Select the customer. How?

  2. From the Customer Information tab, select Credit Line.
    The Credit Line screen appears.

Note:   Approved, effective credit lines are displayed with blue text. Expired credit lines are displayed with red text.

  1. Select the check boxes for the credit lines you want to delete.

  1. Click Delete.
