Modifying Rulesets and Rules

Procedure

It is not recommended to modify a ruleset while it is active. To modify the active ruleset, create a new one by copying the active ruleset. Make your modifications on the copy. When you have finalized your changes, you can promote the revised ruleset to make it the active ruleset.

To modify rulesets:

  1. Select Admin.
    The Admin Home Page appears.

  2. From the Policy Administration tab, select Rulesets.
    The Rulesets screen appears.

  3. Select view/edit in the row for the ruleset that you want to modify.

Note: If you changed the rule name, the rule name is updated in lists when selecting rules as results for rule conditions.
