Setting Up Notification Events

Overview

If your organization uses dispute resolvers who are not eCredit users or who use the application only occasionally, you can set up e-mail notification to assign them as resolvers. Use the Notification Setup feature to define rules for selecting and notifying internal contacts to be dispute resolvers for the 'on create', 'on update', and 'periodic' dispute triggers. These rules define the circumstances under which different contacts are assigned and notified.

Optionally, you can define a secondary contact (secondary action parameters) who is notified of the dispute assignment and updates. This enables you to notify contacts who can track the progress of dispute resolution. This secondary contact can be external or internal to your organization, enabling you to send notification of dispute assignments and updates to your employees or to business contacts for the customer or invoice.
