Viewing Exposure and Aging for Business Hierarchies

Procedure

To view exposure and aging for business hierarchies:

  1. Select the customer. How?

  2. Select the Business Hierarchy tab.
    The Business Hierarchy List screen appears.

  3. Select view in the row for the business hierarchy.
    The Business Relationship Hierarchy screen displays the exposure and aging for the entire hierarchy. The Hierarchy Tree section displays customer characteristics for each customer in the hierarchy (hierarchy level, customer number, DUNS number, legal entity level, business entity level, region, and total AR), if these characteristics are available for the customer.

  4. Use the following table to work with hierarchy data:

calculate exposure and aging for a segment of the hierarchy

Select the option button (in the Hierarchy Tree section) for the segment of the business hierarchy for which you want to calculate exposure and aging and click Calculate.
 

eCredit totals the amounts for the customer, and all customers below the selected customer. The Selected Account Data section changes to display only data for the customer you selected.

calculate monetary values in a different currency

Select a currency, unit, and conversion date (under Business Relationship Hierarchy), and click Calculate.
 

eCredit calculates the totals using the selected currency, unit, and conversion date.

Note:  If you select a conversion date for which no exchange rate data has been entered, eCredit uses the most recent prior date for which data is available. Therefore, selecting the current date ensures that you receive the most recent exchange rate data.

collapse or expand the tree for any node that has a child element, in the Hierarchy Tree section:

  • Select the + sign next to the node to expand it, or

  • Select the - sign next to a node to contract it.

view the customer number, DUNS number, legal entity level, business entity level, and region

Move the mouse over the data next to the customer name in the Hierarchy Tree section.
A tool tip describes the data.

view the customer record for any customer in the hierarchy

Select the customer's name in the hierarchy tree.
The Basic screen appears for the customer.

view scores for customers in hierarchies

  1. In the Hierarchy Tree section, select the option button for the account for which you want to view the weighted score.

  2. Click Calculate.
    In the Selected Account Data section, the Weighted Score field displays the score for the selected customer.
