Adding SIC Information

Procedure

To add SIC Information:

  1. Select the customer. How?

  2. From the Customer Information tab select SIC.
    The SIC screen appears.

  3. Click Add.
    The SIC details screen appears.

  4. In the Search section, enter search information for the code.

Notes:  

On the SIC search screen you can enter partial information for both the Keyword and the SIC code, but you must use the % character to represent any missing letters or numbers.

The keyword matches the description for the industry grouping.

  1. Click Search.
    The Search Results section fills in with the SIC codes matching the search information.

  2. From the SIC Code column, select the SIC code that you want to add for the customer.
    The Business Information section fills in with information for the selected SIC code.

  3. In the Business Information section, select an importance for the SIC code.

  4. Click Save.
