Access the
Select the Chart Type - Step 4 of 4 screen for the report. You can access
this screen when creating a new report or by clicking view/edit in the
row for the report on the Reports screen.
On the Select
the Report Type screen, from the Chart Type list, select the type of chart.
When you select a chart type from the list, the screen previews your
selection.
From the Value
list, select the Y axis for the chart. The Value list contains any fields
you selected for the report that are measurements.
From the Category
list, select the X axis for the chart.
Optionally,
from the Groupings list, select the field that you want the data to be
grouped by. Grouping further breaks down the data into the grouping you
select. To graph the category and value fields without any grouping, select
None from the Groupings list.
Optionally,
to link this report to another report, from the Drill Down Report list,
select the name of the linked report. The Drill Down Report list includes
the names of all user-defined reports. The drill down report you select
should include more detailed data for the field you selected as the category
for the graph for this report. More
In the Chart
Title field, enter the title for the chart as it will appear in the report.
The chart title is important as it identifies the values being graphed.
In the Chart
Location field, select whether you want the chart to appear at the top
or the bottom of the report.
From the Chart
Size field, select the size for the chart as Small, Medium, or Large.
In the Name
field, enter the name for the report. You can search for the report using
the name you enter.
In the Category
list, select the category for the report. You can search for the report
using the category you enter.
In the Title
field, enter the title that appears on the report when the report is generated.
When you have
finished defining the chart, click Finish.
The Save - Run Report screen appears.
