Financial Analysis

Overview

The Financial Analysis feature stores detailed financial data for a customer's business, while providing you with analytic tools to aid your credit risk assessment. When you enter or download income statements and balance sheets for your customers, eCredit generates ratios, cash flow statements, and Expert Comments for the statements.

You can use the customer's financial data in your risk analysis, you can create reports or scorecards that use the financial data, you can create portfolios of your customers that generate an average financial statement that you can use as benchmarks, or your automated decision process can be designed to use the financial information when evaluating a credit request.

Using eCredit's Financial Analysis feature, you can:

  • compare statements to each other and to portfolio average statements if you define portfolios.

  • perform year-to-date calculations for interim statements in comparison view.

  • enter cash flow adjustments.

  • print statements.

  • export statements to any spreadsheet application.

  • Use the Calculate button to perform 'What If' analysis.
