Field

Description

Account Status

Select the current status of the customer account such as Active, Inactive, and On Hold.

Analyst

Select the name of the credit analyst or collector who is assigned to the customer account.

Business Entity Level

Select the business entity that describes the customer's business such as Ultimate, Parent, or Subsidiary.

Country

Select the country for the customer's legal address. Example: United States.

Customer #

Number assigned to the customer. When you are adding a customer directly, if you do not enter a customer number, eCredit assigns the number

Customer Name

The legal name for the customer's business.

Doing Business As

An alternative name or trade name used by a business for sales or marketing purposes.

DUNS #

Dun and Bradstreet (D&B) assigned account number. When searching by DUNS number, you must enter the complete number.

Experian BIN

9-digit number assigned by Experian® (formerly TRW) for the customer.

Legal Entity Level

Select the legal entity that describes the customer's business, such as Ultimate, Headquarters, Branch, or Invoice To.

LINK ID

9-digit number assigned by Cortera to a customer in its database. When searching by Link ID, you must enter the complete number. More

Source

If your business administrator has set up eCredit for sources, select the name of the source that created the customer record. If you do not select a source, eCredit searches all source and subscriber customers.

Note: If you are a source user for an external source, or for an internal source that does not have access to all customers, the Source list is not available. When the Source list is not available, eCredit always searches for customers created only by your source organization.

State

Select the state for the customer's legal address.

Search Results

Note: When you click any underlined column header the list sorts by that information in ascending order. If you click the header a second time, the list displays in descending order.

You can also customize the information that is displayed in the Search Results section by adding or removing columns, and renaming optional column display labels. The Admin user role is required to customize the Search Results section. More

Action

Provides links for quick access to information about the customer. Boldface font indicates that data is available for the customer.

Analyst

Note:
The doing business as name entered in the DBA (Trade Style) 1 field on the Basic screen for the customer appears in this field, even if the DBA match was with the entry in DBA (Trade Style) 2 - 4 fields.

Guarantor

If selected, indicates that the business or individual is a guarantor.

Source Name

Name of the source Sources are your internal or external sales channels that originate credit requests. External sources include vendors, dealers, distributors, and value added resellers that are directly or indirectly involved in selling your products. Internal sources include direct sales representatives, branch, or regional offices. When setting up sources in eCredit, you can control the degree of access that your sources have to each other's customers and transactions, and the user roles that the source admin can assign to source users. that entered the customer data. Total A/R

The total amount of accounts receivable that the customer owes.
