Completing Action Items from Collection Activity

Procedure

To complete one or more action items from Collection Activity:

  1. Access the collection activities. How?

  2. Select a view from the Action Item View list, and click search.

Note: The action item view you are in determines the actions that are completed:

    • If you are in the 'All' action item view, the actions you select are completed.

    • If you are in 'Latest action per invoice' view, the actions you select and all actions associated with the invoice are completed. The displayed action is marked 'Completed' in the database, and the older actions (that are not displayed) are marked in the database as 'System Completed'.'

    • If you are in 'Distinct customer action item' view, the action you select is completed for all invoices for the customer currently in your work queue.  

  1. Select the action items you want to complete by selecting the check boxes.

Note: To select all action items on a page, select the check box at the top of the first column. To select all action items across all pages, click Select All.

  1. To complete the action items, click Complete.
    In the Distinct customer action view, if the number of action items exceeds a maximum (1000 actions), the completion is converted to a batch job that occurs during the nightly processing. Work Queue totals are not updated until the completion occurs. The information in the row that includes the customer name appears in blue text to indicate that the customer's actions are marked for completion.
