Strategy Setup

Overview

A strategy provides instructions for how eCredit and collectors treat a particular segment of  your customer invoices. As the Strategist, you define the strategies that represent your best practices for handling different types of invoices. You define as many strategies as your collection policies require.

The strategies you enter are determined by your collections policy that you enter into eCredit as a segment ruleset. You define a strategy for each segment to which the ruleset makes assignment. Typically you define a different strategy for each segment. More See "Rulesets for Strategies"

After defining your segment ruleset, you begin entering the information into eCredit by first entering the strategies. By entering strategies first, the strategies are available in selection lists when you enter segments. More.
