New Features and Functional Enhancements

eCredit v6.0 includes the following new and enhanced features:

 Home Page

• Search for open invoices across all customers by Payment Reference #.  eCredit displays multiple matches in an intermediate search screen from which you can select an invoice to view its details.

Automated Decisions

Bureau Reports

• View new Business InstantID product for the LexisNexis bureau for government screening and identity verification.

Customer Analysis

Customer Snapshot

• View aging balance trending data for a selected customer over a 12-month period in new chart section.  

Credit Line/Credit Allocation

• Allocate an approved credit line at the ultimate parent level in a business hierarchy.  Previously, you could only allocate an approved credit line to child customers in a business hierarchy.

Basic

• Reset collection strategy for customer level strategy.

  Correspondence

• Add attachments to correspondence notification templates. eCredit provides a browse window that you can use to locate the file on your computer that you want to attach. You need the appropriate user capability to use this feature.

Bureau Reports

• Submit an event to the LexisNexis bureau for the following product: Business InstantID Report.  

• View new Business InstantID Report from the LexisNexis bureau.

Invoices

• View open and closed invoices at the ultimate parent level for a selected business hierarchy. Invoices are grouped by child customers in the business hierarchy.

• Enhanced the sort order of the Promise column on the customer’s Invoice List screen, and added new promise icons and tool tips.  

 Work Queue

Work Queue Summary

• View a summary of promise records for a selected customer in new pop-up screen from Work Queue Summary search results.

• View Promise Date for selected invoices from Work Queue Summary search results.

• AutoText option added to customer notes in Work Queue Summary search results.

Work Queue Collection/Collection Activity

• Quick links to a customer's Invoices tab from new Action drop-down menu.

• Access Collection Activity search criteria from new pop-up screen.   

• Enhanced the sort order of the Promise column on the customer’s Collection Activity screen, and added new promise icons and tool tips.

Collection Activity/Customer Profile

• Add or delete quick tips from new Quick Tips screen.  

• View up to 10 payment records for a selected customer from new Payments screen. Payment records are displayed in the descending order of the payment date. You can also search for payment records by payment date and Invoice #.    

Reports

Ad Hoc Reporting Tool

• Link columns in ad hoc reports to Credit Request Details and Invoice Details screens.

 Dispute Management

Search Dispute/Search Results

• Generate correspondence for up to 200 disputes for a selected customer from Search Dispute search results. You can generate correspondences for open and closed disputes.

 Admin

View Designer/Edit Customer Snapshot

• Configure new chart section to show month’s end AR trending data for a customer. You can configure Line or Bar charts to show aging balance trending data for up to five metrics at a time from a list of accounts receivable data fields.

System Administration

• Assign user capability for:

• adding attachments to notification templates from the Correspondence screen.

• viewing invoices at the ultimate parent level for a selected business hierarchy.

• adding and deleting quick tips from a customer’s Quick Tips screen.   

Bureau Administration

• Set up LexisNexis bureau for government screening and identity verification with the following product: Business InstantID.  

• Set up user ID and password for LexisNexis bureau.

Business Administration

• Download currency exchange rates in real-time or through batch processing for a customer from the Exchange Rate screen.

Policy Administration

• Create and maintain customer level strategy based on customer past due date and period start date as control dates.
