Customizing Credit Request Fields

Procedure

Notes:

  • For the Credit Request Details screen, you can change the position of fields only within their sections.

  • If a field is locked, you cannot edit the field other than changing the position of the field within its section. A locked field has a lock icon next to it's name.

  • If a field is user-defined, use View Designer to change the position of the field within its section or to hide the field from view.

To customize fields:

  1. Select Admin.
    The Admin Home Page appears.

  2. From the View Designer tab, select Edit Credit Request.

    1. Move the mouse pointer to the target location. A dotted black box appears next to each field on the screen marking a position to which you can move the field. When you move the mouse over a dotted rectangle it becomes black to indicate that releasing the mouse will position the field in that location.

Note:  You cannot move the field to the first position. To move a field to the first position, move it to the second position and then move the first field to the second position.

A dotted black box containing the name of the field appears.

    3. You can restore the field by clicking and dragging it from the Recycle Bin to any position in its original section of the View Designer screen.

  1. When you have completed making changes for the screen, click Save at the bottom of the View Designer screen.
